I always felt that this was the release where Özgür Can perfected his sound. Everything after this release had that signature Özgur wackiness to it. And I think the launch of Furry Music followed suit too. The Mingle King has an overture feel to it, it sets the tone of the EP. A melodic and bassy affair with a strong techy beat.Crazy Menu is a buzzing bassline affair, layered with a few haunting pads it sets a sort of midnight diner mood. You know the sort where you go to have a slice of apple pie in the middle of the night. Sleepless In Stockholm is my personal favorite off the whole EP. It's wicked, twisted, bit-crushed and stuffed with a monster of a bassline. I can imagine that this is how it must feel like to be sleepless in Stockholm after a slice of a midnight apple pie.Simplicity is probably the unsung hero of this 4-track EP. It's slower than the other tracks, has a simple, straightforward arrangement with a chill melody and an uncomplicated beat that drives the tune. It could be very easily mixed in chillout/lounge sets, and could be a great track for setting the mood at the beginning of the night.
